Le Grand Bois is a delightful farmhouse gite set amongst fields of sunflowers and vineyards near the bustling medieval Bastide town of Eymet and only 20 minutes from Bergerac Airport.
Bergerac is serviced by direct flights from Birmingham, Bristol, East Midlands, Exeter, Leeds, Liverpool, Southampton, and Stansted.
Le Grand Bois is set in 4 acres of idyllic countryside just outside the village of St. Capraise d'Eymet. It's own wild flower meadow, which last year included 5 different types of orchids, is visited by the rare swallowtail butterfly.
The gite, furnished with French antiques can accommodate two to seven people and is available all year. During the peak season of July and August, both the Gite and interconnecting Farm House are rented together (comfortably sleeping up to fourteen people). Ideal accommodation for holidaying with friends and family together but allowing your own space by having separate kitchen, dining spaces and living areas.
This is a truly special place where you can, immerse yourself in the idyllic life of the French countryside. Yet having the pleasure of many bastide towns, with their incredible markets, restraunts and culture within a 15 minute drive.
